Much more black cherry on the platate Soft and lush Lush and sweet on the palate with good acidity and drying tannins. Feels pretty evolved already. No sure if it will improve. Very good but for an ‘09 1er (At the retail price point, although it was a steal at auction) I expected more

The quality of the 2009 vintage comes through here. Very good on day one, even better on day two. Excellent purity of fruit and a stellar and long finish are this wine's hallmarks. Great aging potential.

Medium garnet color, bright like Ruby gem, smells of white truffle, Matutake mushroom, damped earth, pine needle, and smoked meat, tannin is completely resolved at this point, extremely smooth and round, tastes of strawberry, pomegranate, and cranberry, initially pronounced acidity with a citrus note, faded away after 30 min in the decanter, still plenty of fruit left, a pleasure to drink, medium to long lingering finish with a savory aftertaste. Yummy!
