Good, honest Bordeaux. Sophisticated without being challenging. Would drink again without hesitation.

No layers. Just jammy spicy tannins. Bold. To be drank with a meal to challenge it.

Subtle Blackberry and cherry notes, with a bit of spice. Great, decanted, with beef Wellington.

Easy blend of nicely balanced fruit with a spicy finish. It is a price performer.

Tar, black currant, cedar, tobacco, a bit of heat too. The palate is very nice with a velvety texture all along. A good acid backbone, a bright black fruit, a milky mouthfeel with a bit of weight on the sides, some gentle tannins rolling in mid palate and a long fruity finish with that milky mouthfeel. It's not very complex but it's well crafted. It's difficult to place in côtes de bourg though as this very generic.

Smells of barn, wet earth, and tamarind / cinnamon. Very sharp tannins with powerful acidity. Big body.

Notes of rasin, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Spicy finish.
