Amelia's Block Petite Sirah

Huge, well balanced, deep, dark fruit, mean #wine. Every Shypoke I has been great

I'll preface my comment with noting I am not a petite sirah drinker when it is the dominant grape (usually too overpowering on its own). While this is also the deep deep purple typical of petite Sirah, it had a much lighter mouthfeel than expected and tannins were resolved. Almost silky. So kudos on this effort.

Pretty awesome Syrah at price point

Dark red, bold dry medium bodied. Pepper finish. Great out of the bottle but opened up after 30-60 minutes. Excellent pairing with Ribeye, mushrooms and family.

Big, bold, and tangy

Not petite! Big, bold fruit forward. Blackberry, dates and chocolate. Smooth, balanced with a great finish. This vintage can sand another 5 years aging.

Oh MY! One of the best fruit forward smooth delectable Syrahs EVER! I want a case!

Needs about 30 min to open up

Good but Petite Sirah is not necessarily my bag. Seems to have aged well though.

Nothing going on. All acid and unbalanced. Big fan of petite sirah, so disappointed
