Thanksgiving: top dog QP wine these days. The brett wears off, though I dig the funk, & left w a pretty concentrated blend of black fruits & dried herbs. Truly an insane value-& it’s been aged

Clear deep Ruby color and full bodied with medium acid. Lots of barnyard funk together with leather and tobacco notes on the nose. Barnyard funk, dark cherry and tobacco notes on the palate leading to a smooth velvety mildly tannic finish. Delicious, distinctive and interesting wine. My first Copertino so don't know if this bottle is typical of the style, but I like it!

95% negroamaro & 5% malvasia nera actually. Punches way above its price class (10&change on sale), gorgeous red fruits but all tempered by an old school tobacco/earth frame which, come to think, is what I like in any wine. A little funk too. Analogous to D’Oupia’s Minervois from Langedoc in simplicity, value & outrageous delish factor.

It's really really Italian. Not the Italy for snobs or people who prefer French wines (me)....but the real Italy. Drink it, you'll like it.

Wow. Back at the barn milking cows. Strong pungent smell and taste. But like it!! Balanced it with an earthy chocolate fruit kinda cake. I think there are some dark tangy fruits simmering through. It's an experience!!

Amazing value. Medium body, delicate, strong. Red fruit, tar, funky spice. Bright.

Just ok, simple red wine with fruit and spice character. Grab a pizza.
