Violets with an herbal sweetness. Transparent black currant, some tannic firmness and some heat. Bit of Musk. Closing down a bit?

A beautiful and soulful wine in the making but jumped the gun by at least 5 years

This was in immaculate condition, displaying both ripeness and freshness with complex secondary flavors of roses, sous bois and meat. A treat

Still hibernating. Revisit in 10-15.

Delightful as always. Delicate, floral, a bit peppery in this vintage, but no issues striking that perfect balance of ripeness and coolness. Ethereal. Hits its stride with an hour of air, excellent cellar potential.

Still a bit closed but give this 30 minutes and it’s wafting violet and black currant. Vivid fresh soil. So floral. A favorite. Always sweet, delicate, mesmerizing.

In great shape—cigar box, pepper, red and blue fruit, dried herbs, some cocoa

Beautiful. Purple flowers galore, a bit closed at the moment but still plenty of enjoyment. Prior notes apply.

Feel like I dipped into this case 10 years too early. In many ways a nicely drinking wine but still in the gap between primary and secondary. The up-front blackcurrent leaf and blackberry notes are fading but the elusive cigarbox, truffle, and earthy tones have not yet started unfolding. I'd give it another 6 years minimum.
