Bordeaux Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon

Like running into an ex and his new girlfriend when you're not wearing any makeup. This is tart, bitter and metallic. Just like that breakup was ;-)

Lots of tannins: not very fruity.

Im going against the stream here with a 9.0 rating. This 2018 was enjoyable and suited my palate very well.

This is a dry choice, with a slight-but-not-overpowering oaken taste at the end. Very pleasurable wine and one I’ll be getting again!!!

Smooth Bordeaux with medium tannin and dry finish, great with food, at Fromage Bistro in South Boston

Bought after Bordeaux Class. Red fruits and herbaceous notes on the nose, very round body with red fruits dominating, very mild acid and really don't get any tannins. Very drinkable and went very well with our fancy pizza as suggested.

Soft tannins do not overpower, paired well with pork tenderloin. Good value on sale and would buy again. Surdyk's 1/17 $9
