First educational tasting at Matt Stamps MS new Napa wine bar. A place dear to my heart is the focus...Santorini. This 100% Aidani was unique and is like a Viognier but with very high acidity.
The color of this wine is deep yellow tinged with straw yellow slightly with the cloudiness. The scent of the wine begins with a yellow peach, a marmalade jam and follows a nutmeg, a dry mango, white pepper, white chocolate, cream, and then scent of a passion fruit, a rum raisin, a ripe banana, a hint of barrel is added and come to be complex. The taste is fruity taste with the saltiness and bitterness, crisp acidity, comfortable bitter and salty aftertaste make it totally dry and fine with minerals.

Some lovely complexity on the nose with notes of salty sea-breeze, yellow fruit and orange zest, heady stuff! In the mouth there is a brief snap of briny acidity swiftly followed by melon & apple skin tannin, grippy length
