Time to drink this one. Raisny roasted figs and sweetish strawberry jam mix with a touch of saddle leather and powdery tannins. Fruit starting to fade.

Found this languishing in a friend’s cellar. Cork intact. This poured brick red and somewhat cloudy. However, this was a very pleasant, old CdP despite the rather dreadful color. This was dark fruit, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, leather and earth. On the palate it was very much a joy though clearly in the twilight of its life. Fun to drink.

Complex aromas...bright red fruit, tomato leaf, leather, earth, mushroom. Dill. Tawny in color. Sip, and you confirm the tomato and leather, along with black berry and cassis. There's a little Brett here, but it's more like a subtle and welcome seasoning than a fault. High acid, fully developed, fully integrated tannin. Very long finish. Outstanding now, but will keep for several more years at least.

Medium to lighter bodied- very pretty. Good fruit, yet very rustic. Heavy red Grenache fruit. Lilacs and tarragon.

Very tertiary driven wine. Not the most expressive but it seems past its peak a little. Still enjoyable. Cigar ash, stewed plums, raspy herbs, peppercorns, leather, umami. Tannins still have a little clunk to them despite how they've softened.

Got the last ‘03 bottle!! cherry and plum on both the nose and palate with slight mushrooms and earth tones. An excellent wine that hasn’t appeared to age. Shout out to Bird & Jim - if you are in Estes Park you MUST stop here. Great food and an excellent wine list!

Still lots of fruit in the nose. Good color. Chewy with some earthy flavor. A little short in the finish.
