Green bean and cranberry. Wanted to love this wine. Herbal, grainy, nervy. Mostly things I don’t look for in Pinot.

Rollin' the Deiss!
This wine needs time in decanter. Slightly (and pleasantly) oxidized. Very traditionally crafted... there's a lightness to the texture and savory earthy character. No powerhouse Pinot. Not for the Kosta Browne lovers. My type of PN.

Volatile acidity, Brett and earth abound on the nose. This is a backward & austere wine. After decanting 45 min. still seems closed. Tons of iron, dried tobacco and salted beef on the finish. Disjointed.

Dark concentration of dark fruits; blackberry, black raspberry, black plum, black cherry, blueberry. An array of spices; nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, black and red licorice, sage, forest floor. For me, it's only flaw, an extra dry finish.

Savory and earthy. Not as focused or as pure as anticipated.

Gorgeous nose. Palate in a dried roses cranberry space. Gives the impression of a long future ahead.

Not great. Sometimes you buy things while visiting a region that just don’t live up. This is very barn-y on the nose but the real issue is how green and astringent this is. Perhaps picked underripe or just the year.

From 375 mL. A ripe, rich wine. Tart cherry with earth and somewhat burly. Needs a 2 hour decant. Delicious.

Le Cornas du pinot noir ( bon même si c est de la complantation 😁)
Nez effectivement de brûlé à l ouverture puis on bascule sur des fruits rouges murs type cerise burlat , les tanins ont encore besoin de se fondre
