A little bit sweeter than dry, beautiful color and watermelon flavors on the palate. Some earthiness or meatiness in the later palate, and good fullness on the tongue.

Better after I started thinking of it as a very light (chilled) red instead of a rosé.

Blood orange, cranberry, tons of acidity. Best rosé I've got for under $14.99. It's PA$12.99

As a friend would say, a “porch pounder“ wine. Not delicate.

This very deeply colored rosé is not very expressive but offers some raspberry and floral notes marred by a whiff of volatile acidity. Very soft and fruity on the palate though it lacks acidity and crispness. It is easy drinking at only 11.5% alcohol. This Peter Weygandt selection is made from 100% Côt (Malbec) by one of the better producers in Cahors using the more general IGP appellation of Côtes du Lot. Although admittedly intended for earlier consumption, this was nevertheless a lackluster showing for this wine.

I opened this thinking we were going to hate it. I am pleasantly surprised. I kinda like it. Definitely on the sweet side, but super drinkable. I'll buy more of I see it.

Too sweet and syrupy for my taste. If you like sweet rose you may enjoy this more. Cheap for sure so no big loss.

Unique rosé made from Malbec. Acidic pucker. Unripe strawberry, watermelon. Deceptive color.
