First vintage bottled by Majella says that back label. Great flavor and depth.
Earthy, irony, meaty, tobacco leaves, black pepper, potpourri and coriander.
Smooth, but not long.
12.5%
Again a nice 1991 from a producer that had not expectations at that time.

LOVE this Shiraz! Oaky, peppery notes intertwined with a slight jammy taste, but not unpleasant. Fruit forward aromas. Good length, medium complexity. An overall delicious bottle of Shiraz!

Medium bodied, dry, nice wine. Raspberry and cherry. A few spices along with the oak and tannins. Excellent now but will age well for years.

Decent job with a really crappy year. I love Majella, but the 2011s can't compete with the powerhouse 2012s. Light for a cab. Notes of eucalyptus.

Very nice. Focussed, concentrated nose and front palate of dark fruit. There's an enjoyable jamminess along with a good dose of pepper, finishing with grippy tannins.

Majella's red wines are generally really good. Their Shiraz is my favorite! Get the 2012 vintage :)
