Another solid vintage of WR’s Five Dog (Grape) white blend from Southern New England. Darker gold color than last few vintages. Apples, pears, minerals, white peach. Hint of citrus, anise and tropical fruits. Very aromatic and fruity. A bit sweeter than the past few vintages. (Some Semi Dry Riesling in the Blend, perhaps?). Soft acidity.

Pleasant quite sweet white. I'd like a hair more acidity. Went well with grilled striper and mashed sweet potatoes. No ABV listed (is that legal?) but it was not excessive by any means. Support your local grower.
