Nice complexity and perfect dinner wine when a big cab is too much. Good "any day" wine for those of us who can no longer find enjoyment in more generic table wines .

Vanilla bean creme brulee on the finish. Crisp black cherry plum and cassis. A good casual night kinda bottle

For the price, this is dynamite. $20 and under Cabernet is hard to make well, but this shines. Black tar, dark chocolate bark, and mulled blueberries on the nose.. Raspberry and cranberry on the palate, with a bit more chocolate with bright acidity.. Good value and a great burger wine.

Not sure where ‘Owl Ridge’ is but it’s a cute critter label. Color is nice. Bit of a red rust edge to the deep maroon center. Nose is elegant. Leather in the sun and berry preserves. Some pumpkin spice or maybe it’s just nutmeg. Flavors are chewy, savory, and more autumn in the air stuff. Maybe smoke from leaves burning or pies spices used in baking. Has grapes, berries and that stuff too. It’s a nice elegant and tasty Cab from a locale that does them just right.

On the sweeter side at first but mellowed out with a little time.
