Exploring Greywacke with Kevin Judd. The wild sauvignons were mind blowing.

Reminded us of our unbelievable experience meeting Kevin Judd on our honeymoon in 2013. Such a fantastic wine! Went perfectly with Chef Chau's seafood pasta.

Had a little too much residual sugar for my liking. Crisper the better. That being said it went down well with a good Bermuda fish chowder... spices and all.

Kevin Judd's 2013 is an elegant number, not overripe peardrops (like so many NZ can be) but lightly creamy, leesy, white flowers with white peach, coxs apple. Light phenolics balanced with good acidity and texture. Slight smidgen of residual sugar also supports harmony. Well made
