Skylark Wine Company
Red Belly North Coast Red Rhone Blend
A medium red blend on the chalky, tannic, alcoholic side. Don’t really like it. Some dark cherry & plum flavor but overcome by the minerality, tannins & alcohol. Maybe a bad bottle but cork was clean- Should be OK for cooking-

Tastes homemade, not in a good way. Thin with little flavor other than a brief note of fruit. Almost wonder if this is a bad bottle, but I don't know what could have caused it.

Jun 21st, 2020Juicy, easy drinking red with moderate spice. Fruity w a touch of jam, but not overbearing. Worked really well with spiced lamb ragout on creamy polenta.
