Absolutely beautiful. Packed with plenty of dry extract, it’s density and sinew demand your attention. Plenty of elegance given the heft of the year. It’s quite inviting despite the structure.

Brilliant violet. Cherry, blackberry, pungent flowers, allspice and garrigue on the assertively perfumed nose. Sappy and broad on entry, offering appealingly sweet red and dark berry flavors that tighten up and become spicier through the midpalate. There's excellent depth here, but there's energy as well. Closes impressively long and gently chewy, with resonating cherry and floral notes and slowly building tannins that add discreet grip. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2021)

Not a great showing for this one despite the great bones. All the parts were there but way too shy, disjointed. May’ve needed several hours in decanter at this early stage.

In a sweet spot right now. Some of my favorite Rhone's come from this producer.

Double decanter for 4 hours and still needed some time! Very tight and closed to begin but opened up aromatically. Should be great in 2-4 years with plenty of life.

Freaking fantastic, but I wish I would have given it another decade! Strong and bold with great dark fruits, leather, and spices! Such a treat!
