Can't say I've ever had seven year old Zin from Australia before. Reminded me a lot of a young, big/boozy CA Zin crossed a bit with an older Northern Italian. Not a lot that screams Barossa Valley.

Jammy leather nose maybe with a nutmeg. Very fruit forward. Missing the tip of the tongue hitting mid palate with a slight tannic feel and finishing soft.
