Nov 21st, 2022Blend of 50% Cab Sauv, 35% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc & 5% Petit Verdot, Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit aromas & herb notes. On the palate black raspberry & blackberry, currant-like, with tobacco, cacao and smoky oak notes. Mar 7th, 2021At peak maturity without being dominated by all tertiary notes. Dark stewed fruit, incense, and cinnamon. Faded quickly but worth the wait.

Aug 3rd, 2020Wow. This guy shed its youthfulness within the hour after it went into the decanter. Evolved several times over the next two into a real treat. Dark fruit, cedar, leather, lavender. Scent geek stuff. Silky tannic grip emerged to frame dark fruit, tobacco/mint, a l’il spice box. This producer delivers every time for me. Quickly becoming my go to Bordeaux house. Awesome again.

Feb 16th, 2020Tasted this in 2016, and surprisingly, this hadn’t evolved to a better place. Cow dung and cigar notes on the nose. Good fruit on the mid-palate, but the acid is exuberant, which causes the experience to be slightly angular and disjointed.

Dec 6th, 2019What a brilliant effort - mature but still with a lovely tannic frame. This is textbook Médoc - elegant violet, cassis, cedar, cigar box, black cherry and lead pencil. Beautiful, long finish. A terrific package
