I liked the subtle fruit and black slate minerality. Not super complex, but very easy to drink.

Really tight and tart fruit at first, then it opens up. Blue fruit dominates this wine. Not my favorite Spanish Garnacha but it will do nicely tonight with enchiladas.

Such a great value (and Calatayud generally is a wildly underrated region for Grenache). Nose has concentrated essence of framboise ooze, along with a bit of spice and crushed rock dust. On the palate, it’s got dense flavor concentration, very pure fruit, nice acids (especially for a Grenache), and a bit of dusty tannins. So good. Should have gotten a case.

Blueberry for days, super fresh. Great pizza wine.

An absolute steal for 9 bucks.

Wonderful #everydaygems, even recalls a well balanced chateauneuf for a split second, but with blueberries and a different flavor of earthiness.

Shows the mix of macerated fruit and chalky minerality that I've come to love from Calatayud. Also intriguing notes of peach, lavender, and pepper. Best on day 2.

Borders on candied with occasional notes of black raspberry in the finish. Mouthfeel and balance, much better than the Borsao wines.
