Governor's White Riesling

Dry Riesling. Very crisp and refreshing without the sweetness typical with a Riesling.

2018. Muddled. It’s drinkable but not exciting.

Color of light gold, with a very faint hue of green tone. Nose of honey, sweet flowering note, tangerine, a bit spice, and more sweet tangerine. Taste of nice zest, acidity, a bit hokey, mineral, tangerine, spice, refreshingly light yet savory. Aftertaste of acidity, a bit too much lime zest, above average.

Buttery and fruity, tastes much higher grade than the price point.

Decent summer wine; a bit sweeter. Apricot on the nose. Stone fruit

Have enjoyed 2013, 14 and now 2015 vintages. Sweet, but not overly so. Visited winery with friends in 2014. Nice!

Dryer than expected, good wine for people who do not prefer "too sweet" wine

SO sweet! The label misguides you and claims to be on the drier side, but I did not find it dry at all. As a sweet Riesling, it's good. But not for those who like their wine on the drier side.

Very good for a local VA wine. Went down very easily.
