Interesting leathery but silky lebanonese bottle that is very food oriented. It was beautiful with lamb and truffles. It is wonderfully focused and balanced wine.

Had the silver label (a mark above this) a few years ago and remember really enjoying it. Bought a half of the basic red label with high expectations and it was disappointing. In fairness I think it'd have benighted from a little time breathing (I opened and drunk straight away) but still, very acidic - almost sour - fruit and a high alcohol content. If you want Lebanese wine: Chateau Musar.

Smooth, well balanced. But very simple. Went well with the Lebanese food we had.

Far too acidic, especially the first few sips before it has aerated a bit

Lots of sour fruit and leather. Tasty if not subtle.

Had the 2011. Juicy, medium bodied, dried fruit. Delicious.

2012. 60% cinsault, 20% Syrah,20% cab. Soft and balanced. Very pleasant. Doesn't have the nose of the 2011
