Bountiful cherry blend in the nose,
Classy fruit structure, Grenache / Syrah blend, the finish ruins the wine although. This taste like an oak plank and completely disjointed from the acidity.
This needs some aging to settle that out, if the fruit can hold up.
Ah well, there’s always tomorrow.

2007 Vintage. Huge fruit. Had with venison. Initial flavors smooth and round. Then the tannin came on. Still intense fruit but in 3-4 years may become more elegant.
