Dark purple, med tears some staining.. Coffee, dark berries plum, and a bit of blue fruits.. Hints of vanilla and allspice I assume some new oak here..the palate is big confirming all I smell the alc is med plus tannins are a solid med... Very yummy wine!

A brute of a wine. Very concentrated dark fruit, restrained oak, 14.5% alc. Evidently 2013 better than previous vintages.

Easy to go, low tannin, mild sweet, berries, simple and happy.
The 2013 Urban Uco Blend is a 50/50 blend of Malbec and Tempranillo, fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak barrels for three months. Combining the best of both worlds, Tempranillo and Malbec, the wine gains in complexity and depth, with notes of flowers, a silky palate, with a little bit of tannin in the end. It is complex and structured within its medium-bodied palate. This is superb value. Drink 2014-2017. Wine Advocate 90

Quite dry, medium bodied, woody nose. Good but we like fruitier malbecs. Would try another Malbec than get this one in future.

Nose is a little woody. Not much flavor or after taste. Ok, easily drinkable, but not delicious.

Not bad. Definitely easy drinking, but not bursting with flavor like I like. Moderate spice, fruit and earth.
