Beautiful nose of black plums that also burns with alcohol. The black fruit carries on to the palate. This wine comes on strong, has no middle, then finishes nicely. This could be because it’s a French Malbec as opposed to a New World Malbec.

Delicious example of a great Cahors malbec. Dry, but lots of deep fruit notes to keep the complexity of flavor. Good on own and paired well with food.

The clean unoaked flavor was very nice, but not particularly distinguished or complex. Not much structures or layering, but fine for sipping on a patio?

A magnificent bottle for less than € 10 ... entry-level by one of the leading Malbec specialists in France. All the qualities of the grape variety are magnified here .. a very nice simple and delicious « black » wine... nice texture in mouth, nice finish. For this price it's really magic
