Ready to drink for sure. Typical Cru notes. Countered the spice in a Pork Indad nicely.

Gassy and funky on opening. Became gorgeous with time.

Slow decline. Still nice.

This 2004 still has plenty of fruit left to offer. Wonderful bouquet of dried flowers, fennel and herbs but with excellent freshness on the attack and surprisingly good tannin structure for a nearly 15-year-old Gamay. Serious bottle of Morgon and can be found at the same price as current release if you hunt it down.

Just the right amount of aging. Bruised, macerated strawberries. Cauble picked this one well.

Raspberry jam, earth, mineral, floral. Ripe.

Funky leanings. More earth than fruit.

Medium-light ruby, earthy, mature, but fresh and lively redfruits, good acidity, nice older Beaujolais, very Pinot-like.

Dusty mashed cherries, balsamic spice box nose. Bright acid, spicy lean cherry palate. Very good.
