Delicious wine. Blackberry, vanilla, oak on the nose. Medium bodied. Lots of tannins, finishes quite acidic. Taste is not super fruity, but subtle notes of plum and blackberry. Would stand up well with food but also good on its own.

Good value. Agree with other commenters who mentioned richer food and a fire. Nose like cherry brandy. Smoke, dried sour cherry, pepper in the mouth. Neapolitan pizza with crispy sausage, onions and peppers would love this wine.
