Briny, overlay of sulfur, color intact. 2011, seems to be off in its totality. Maybe an unlucky bottle of a specific case lot, hard to know. Teran generally is a delightful varietal.

Pronounced CHO-tar. Refosco/Teran is the varietal. Briny and tart with black olive, blackberry, sour cherry and smoked meat. Medium body and surprisingly smooth elegant structurally.
