Better paired with spicy pizza, Italian sausage. Alone, immediate pronounced cherry and berry, medium bodied, subtle chocolate and faint sweetness. Interesting blend, would buy again. 2013 vintage

This is a great, easy drinking wine. Had with some nice penne vodka and it was the perfect compliment. Would be great with a top shelf pizza too. Wish I had more of this one.

Soft, fruit forward, light on the tannin. (DH was pleasantly surprised.)

Graphite and cherries on the nose. Smooth chocolate, red and black fruits on the palate. Velvety tannins, and juicy acidity. Well played wsj

Light red. Full. Hints of chocolate and berries. Fine tannin but very smooth.

Light nose of graphite/lead pencil or granite, dry, light bodied, bitter, definitely not one of my favorites outta this #wineclub

Another piccolo from our kindly gifted Laithwaites wine advent calendar (thank you!).

đź‘…fruity, juicy, full mouth, ultra delicate tannins, smooth, black currant
