This is a great cool-climate pinotage that has loads of dark fruits and an incredibly smooth finish and velvety mouthfeel. Come to think of it, I'm actually getting a lot of super ripe strawberries up in this glass. I'll have another.

A deep purple red wine with a medium nose of cherry, plum and blackberry with oak.
A dry wine, medium acid, medium plus alcohol, full bodied with soft round tannins - quite plush mouthfeel. Taste follows the nose with chocolate, vanilla and dark fruit.
An enjoyable wine that would be everyday but for the price.

Excellent blend Pinot and homatage. Been buying wine from Groote Condtatia since 1972, when it was 84c a bottle, sold Thursday 10 till noon, limit 1 case

Nov 11th, 2018Very deep garnet, pronounced legs. Dark berries, ripe cherries, hint of bubblegum, oak, vanilla. Fruity taste with smooth tannins. Good structure, medium acidity, a bit herbacious, some vanilla and oak.

Had the 2013 in May 2017. A very nice Pinotage. Smooth finish. Had with pasta and red sauce, meat & tomato. Had cellared it for about one to two years.
