HAPPY GRENACHE DAY!!! This 2012 Hobo Grenache comes from Sceales Vineyard in Alexander Valley in Sonoma County. Winemaker/Owner Kenny Likitprakong dropped off his kid at school one day, and the teacher said her father was having problems selling his grapes- turned out to be 80 year old dry farmed Grenache from this vineyard. Lots of black & red cherry w/ spice, tar, and lush, lush texture. Great w/ BBQ and spicy food.
