Fer servadou to the rescue. Can't think of a better pairing with a simple dinner of charcuterie, cheese, baguette and salad.

My previous comments still apply. Takes a little time to open up, and a little hot initially, but otherwise still earthy and having a distinct black olive umami note and loads of acidity. Where were these wines when we were traveling through SW France.

A lot better than I expected. Some of the other reviews have mistakenly identified this as a Cab Franc. It's actually a Fer Servadou. Earthy, spicy, peppery aromas; bright flavors of tart plum with black olive and soy sauce; soft, dusty, elegant and not as fruit driven as many wines from the Aveyron area.

Delicious Fer Sevadou. Deep purple. Aromas of violets, graphite/pencil shaving, plummy dark fruit. Medium bodied with higher acidity and little tannin. Intense, deeply earthy and very satisfying. This is properly dry and doesn't try to make impact with fruit ripeness. I think this is what a lot of Beaujolais and Dolcetteo wishes it tasted like.

Fresh and bright, almost raw. Meaty, and bloody. Herbs. Sour fruit.

Rocks and fruit in liquid form, crushed rocks, chalky and dusty texture, mesh with red fruits, floral aromas, subtle spice and bell pepper. Fresh and clean finish with excellent acidity, nice 30+ second finish #garagiste

Nice sticky, but then it dissipates and a nearly cranberry kicks in with the tannins the sort of has the taste of fresh grape frauns, acid at the end is amazing
