Ruddy ruby. Nose is a biy muted on initial pour w some plum and hoisin. Doesn't gain much w air. Probably this is a bit past its peak.

Solidly structured wine in half bottle. The 14.5% alc. makes itself known but the fruit is ripe and silky with soft tannin, muted wood notes, and lots of acidity left. Some great funk on the nose and a complexly entertaining palate!

Surprisingly, I don't hate this. Also, I am drunk.

This is showing its age. Sweet oak as drying tannins dominate. Maybe a better fit for lovers of new world wines, but I honk this is slightly past due.

Classic St Rita Hills. Nice bright dark cherry and sage nose. Structured, full bodied Pinot with minimal bitterness.

Love this vineyard, but this bottle showed some noticeable CO2 and was slightly funky on the nose. Day two showed very well, more typical spicy/stemmy aromas.

A little delicious PN after a tough day with sick kids. Bought at the Wine Cask futures offering in 2005. This is typically pale, ruby colored, fresh as expected for Sta Rita Hills. With aromas of peppery stems, cola, red fruits and plum skin. Still fresh and savoury with a distinct mineral undertone. Well done.
