This is the 2019 Domaine Le Gouroulu Vacqueyras Cuvée Classique GSM. A blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre.
On the nose I find strawberry, black cherry, raspberry, black pepper, spice, leather, bacon fat, violet and earth.
On the palate is strawberry, black cherry, plum, blueberry, black raspberry, pepper, garrigue, star anise and earth.

Love that very complex nose.
Heavy bodied beauty bathed in dark flavor, Hints of genoveses basil, with prominent flavors of toasted blackberry,. A classically wonderful Rhône valley wine, orange peel acidity and well layered oak tannins.

Slightly Brett, red/black cheery, blackberry, blueberry, currant and prune. Fruit are ripe. Prominent Black pepper, subtle cinnamon, nutmeg, with some mint and herb de Provence and violet on the nose, slightly licorice, med to med plus body, smooth tannin, med to med plus acidity. Great wine for its price.
