This comes from the personal label of vineyard manager Josh Clark and his wife Heather. Winemaker is Thomas Rivers Brown.
This is Samuel L. Jackson cast as Henry David Thoreau. A richly polished voice, with an attitude and a cadence that would even make gibberish entertaining. Beyond the ostensible hedonism, though, there's a substance that is layered, nuanced, and contemplative. But the former can certainly make it hard to focus on the latter.
Opens with some obvious, but not overpowering, malo butteriness which sets up perfectly for the blueberry pimp coat that takes center stage, surrounded by pencil shavings, crème de cassis, licorice, baked fig, and cigar box.

Woe 2013 shows as well as 2012! This 2013 I think will outlive the amazing 2012! Which received a 95 by Parker himself... Opened at onset and tried only with our tenderloins WOW! Another Big Winner! Fleshy tannins, gorgeous Fruit Forwardness. Please get this limited while you can find it!! CB 95+

Sep 5th, 2020This one comes on like a freight train. Gobs of fruit attack the palate complimented by juicy sweet tannins. Really enjoyed this and a solid value for a TRB Cab. 👍🏻

This has come together nicely in the last couple of years. Very delicious and complete with a nice full mid-palate.

Nice cab from TRB!! Went very nicely with Pasta Bolognese!!! Still has some heat to it.. needs an hour decant or a year or two in the cellar!

A much better showing than the last time. I swear the coravin changes things. More rounded and full bodied. Tannins better integrated this time around.
