Deep, dusty, clean aromas of earth and blue fruits. Nice compact gripping finish. If only all $13 wine was of this quality.

Just a really good value. Herbs, tannins that hold. Was a bit closed at first, but after a few minutes in the glass it opened right up.

2011. Still a baby. Tastes like Touraine. Very groovy, no funk yet. Satisfying? Extremely.

2010. Weird texture!! All brett and earth in the aroma, great red fruit with a strange mid-finish transition that follows with a burst of acid, then a lengthy finish of earth. Cool!

With a classic jambon baguette sandwich it was perfect. Fresh acids, herbal but reserved nose, pretty long on the palate. Although I slightly preferred the new world example , Pyramid Valley Cab Franc Howell Family Vyd 2007.

I'm never much a fan of this varietal they're all so green tinged red peppers, but this one is something else, it has all the great CF hallmarks, but this is so drinkable though, who would have thought, they just need to be made naturally & non-interventionists.
