Digging this nose... funky blackcherry, heavy brett, mushroom, plum, leather saddle, and clove. Fresh with striking acidity, this spans the spectrums from cranberry to black raspberry. Fruit dominate palate contrasts a non-fruit driven nose. Subtle tannin leads to an elegant finish. Pair with finish or herb crusted lamb.

I got this bottle at the Domaine last year. A chat with a super focused Nicolas Ragot in the middle of a super clean chai left me a great impression. The wine is showing precision and balance.
