Vintage 2015 | My good winefriend @BerryMarinussen makes a plea for Riesling with beef. Searing is my favorite GC from Dirler Cadé. And this 2015 has a nice modest sweet in taste. Goes excellent with Cantonese beef and mango. Total happiness.

Dec 23rd, 2022Vintage 2015 / Cuvée Cécile / Shy smell. Minerals. Awesome taste. Refinement, length, concentration and finesse. Probably late harvest as there is a beautiful sweet touch in taste. Paired with Kung Pao Chicken, marriage made in heaven. Happiness.

A superb scent of mountain flowers supports a sumptuous, yet acidic, mouthfeel of golden raisins, herbs, and minerals. This is a serious Riesling...do yourself a favor and drink it by itself. While best at correct temperature, it still satisfies at room temp. Wonderful!
