Not sure.Started elegant and ended clunky. Not as good as the first time we tried it.

Covid -19 wines part one: out in our quad, with our socially distanced friends and neighbors, drinking by the Hudson. After some sx and being out of work but much better. What better way to start to celebrate recovery but with a Canary Islands red- qpr too, at under 16$. Has a deep maraschino cherry thing, not too dissimilar to Cru Bojo. I love Canary Islands, and in the age of a pandemic, we all need what/who we love.

Sour cherry, peppercorn, white pepper, lavender, smoke, bay leave, and inorganic earth. Bright ruby, slight garnet rim. Medium plus acidity and tannin. 14.5% kinda surprisingly...

Never stops blowing my mind. Sour cherries, white pepper, beef jerky. So herbal. So yes. #canaryislandwine

Sleek and spicy and smooth from start to finish. Floral, almost perfumed on the nose, with a concentration and structure rarely found at this price. Bracing acids accompanied by earthy minerality leading to a long, savory, and smoky finish. Seductive fruit flavors. A stunning value. 13% abv. Blend of listan negro and tintilla. $17.

This was so good! Really excited to taste more Canary Islands wines. Singular wine at a great price.
