Château Deux Fleuves Mesa County Riesling

Surprisingly fresh. Lush. A bit simple.

Way too much RS and next to no acidity to balance.

Crisp and fruity with a medium finish. Enjoyed it with a sesame soy tilapia dish.

Great nose and taste. Enjoyable. Slightly sweet but tolerable

Enjoyed this local Colorado Riesling while vacationing in Dillon.

We drank a lot of Riesling at the Wine Fest. 2014 Colorado Urban Wine Fest.

An interesting, fruity Riesling with aromas of Palisade peaches, apricot, and limestone. Not a particular complex wine but good overall quality from one of Colorado's better vintners that rivals most California iterations of the grape. It also pairs wonderfully with spicier Southwestern flavors, making it a virtual go-to wine for Mexican food lovers.
