Rose pedals, tart tomatoes, red licorice, juniper, rosemary, strawberry, cranberry, clean, focused, and elegant. On the herbal side. Highly tannic but the tannins are already so fine. — 2 months ago
One of the best estate visits and the best Etna Rosso during our focused Sicily wine trip Jan 2024. Very pale brilliant ruby. Fresh cranberry and strawberry and red blossoms. Rose petal. Smoky and herbal. Lavender, truffle, mint, medicinal herbs. — 2 months ago
Dusty thyme, basil, dark licorice, strawberry and cranberry, roses, lavender stems, slaty minerality, Complex and elegant. Rather open already. — 2 months ago
Tart and sweet cranberry, lavender, black tea, rosemary, dusty slate. Very astringent and tart on the palate. Very tight. — 2 months ago
Tart crunchy red berries, red cherry, tomato leaf, blackberry and blackcurrant, tarragon and thyme. Dusty and very acidic. Just enough tannins to balance it out. 50 year old vine destemmed 18 months in large neutral casks. — 2 months ago
Salty apricot, lemon, blood orange, apricot cream. No Malo. — 2 months ago
Red and dark cherry, red plum skin, dark strawberry, cola nut, faint spices, rose and cherry blossom. Not great value but rather tasty. 😋 Would never complain when a dear friend pours you a glass at Chinese new years dinner of 2024. — 2 months ago
Compared to 2018, vintage 2019 featured darker fruit profile (2018 is more red fruited): blackberry, dark cherry, darker cranberry. More purple flowers as well - lavender and violet. IMO more pronounced herbal quality. Rather closed too. Highly tannic unsurprisingly. Def more brooding than 2018. — 2 months ago

Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, coconut, dark chocolate, smoked ribs, forest floor, graphite, game, leather, sweet baking spices. Such an oak bomb but with loads of grilled meaty ashy charcoal. Wet crushed dark stones. Guilty pleasures. — 2 months ago
