Dinner with Joanna. — 4 years ago
A good budget-minded Sauvignon Blanc. Hits the note you want, a bit focused on the green/grass finish, but overall, a wine to have again. Chopped Italian salad and pasta with broccoli and red peppers. — 4 years ago
Mmmm, starts with a pleasant fresh cherry, off the tree fresh, with a welcomed too ripe apple bite. A great August evening vino.

Wee amount of wee bubbles open up this bone-dust bottle Apricot and the lightest of brown sugar bring you through to a pleasant mellow finish. Chicken sausage & peppers with salads made by Marta. With Bob, Hall, Marta, Terri: 5/29/23 — 10 months ago
A good red to break from all the whites and rosés the heat has forced you to open. The bing cherries say, “welcome back to the land of heft and body,” with a receding sweetness. You are introduced to a brief whisp of fennel. The finish gives you what you came for; a light tartness, tinged with the lightest hint of a fruity chanterelle. Joanna made meatballs in a fresh, light tomato sauce. — 3 years ago
Jammy and smooth, perfect for an Italian dinner with bob and Marta at Justa Pasta in Portland. — 4 years ago
Needed a red wine. This was just what I wanted; a Goldilocks wine; not to fruity, not overly tannic, a great way to get ready for the reds I know I will enjoy in the coming months. Dinner with Joanna, grilled steak and eggplant with potatoes. — 3 years ago
From one of Joanna’s favorite wine makers, this is an agreeable everyday red. The cherry blossom washes throughout, and the body fills out at the end. Valentine’s Day, steak and smashed baked potatoes, with a nice crisp salad. — 3 years ago
Starts off a bit hot, the “complex flavors” are forced on you palate, like an over-eager prom proposal; full of hope and desire, with a hint desperation. Needs a rich sauce to beat back the aggressive tartness. Not terrible is a perfect back-handed compliment for this wine. — 4 years ago

Great bottle of wine! An initial bold splash of dark cherry with light hazy smoke. Ever expanding, the deep fruit flavor grows and grows. And when you think it should stop, It keeps going and does not mellow in the best way. Bob’s victory wine with Bob, Hall, Marta, and Terri. — 10 months ago
