The finish develops energy and last surprisingly long. Unctuous, in a good way. Really, really good value!! — 4 months ago
Vajra: just quality all around. Very approachable form first sip. Worth every damn penny. — 9 months ago
2016 from magnum: lush blue/purple fruit and violets all around. Super compulsively drinkable… I think in its prime window now really: tannins and acidity existing in beautiful unison! — 9 months ago
At Cantina Italiana in Boston…with dinner…Happy New Year! — 3 months ago
Dark inky purple. Nose of high toned sweet blue fruit with pencil lead and a floral note (gorgeous nose). Initial sip with aggressive dry tannins which complicate palate, but the dark fruit is present in background. Needs some air, but can sense pedigree. I’d give this another 5-10 years — 3 months ago
2015: muted nose with rich buttery notes and light white fruit/white flowers. Voluptuous on palate but retains a balance between sumptuous buttery and white fruit flavor with a enough acidity to keep it a little linear. Long lush finish. Surprisingly good! — 9 months ago
Strawberry shortcake and crème fraiche! Well defined, just so delicious! Happy New Year! — 3 months ago
Dark. High toned blue fruit/cedar pencil/candle wax nose. Dry persistent tannins with blue fruit palette. Needs some air. With Pizza. — 4 months ago
2017: so far, 2017 seems to be a drink now vintage. So approachable already. Imagine a rose petal rolled between your palms…that’s how I perceive the nose, with tea and camphor…but imbued with a sweetness. — 6 months ago

Dark purple, earthy and brambly…chalky tannins…reasonably balanced acid/tannin relationship. Reminds on southern Rhône. Very good. — 2 months ago
