This was a 100pt RP wine. This was incredible. Bouquet. On the nose of wildflowers and aged cherries. Medium to full body and dry. Pencil lead and granite with black currants and wild mushrooms. Long finish. As close to perfection as you can get — 2 months ago
Just a lovely bottle of Bordeaux. Dark fruits and lead pencil. Full bodied and softening tannins. — 3 months ago
Special bottle. Really in its sweet spot. Fragrant nose , with some Mourvèdre funk. Sweet tannins with dark red fruits. Some Tobacco and black olive. Matured further in glass over the hour and a half the bottle was consumed. Just left you want g more — a month ago
Amazing effort for Le Macchiole crisp and clean with Meyer lemon driving the palate. So delicious. Incredible summer drinker but elegant enough to serve in front of fine Bordeaux — 3 months ago
Carmel and cedar. A little hot for my taste but delicious nonetheless — 3 months ago

This was a big boy. Sweat nose and full body, yet elegant. Tannin structure still there and pleasant on the palate. Black fruits with a pepper kick. Lingering finish makes you want more. — 2 months ago
