Crystal clear bright Ruby in colour. Blue and red fruits combined with loam and stalks - forest floor notes. Great extraction on the palate but not overly so. Medium plus verging on profound intensity. I am a long time fan of Bass Phillip who are in Gippsland and this is made by the gifted younger winemaker William Downie. An exceptional Pinot which could be cellared for another 5 years if so desired. Prior notes from October last year still apply. I had my final bottle 131 weeks later on 1st February 2023. Still a stunning Pinot with the exceptional Gippsland terroir shining through. — 4 years ago

Nice. I get sweet wood on the nose. Little sharp on the palate but tasty. Finish is light but long on the tongue. Pleasant. >William Grant's Ghosted Reserve 26 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky featuring whisky from two closed distilleries - Ladyburn and Inverleven. Both distilleries have been silent for quite a while, with Inverleven being mothballed in 1991 and Ladyburn being closed back in 1975 — 9 hours ago
