The best vintage of the 13, 14, 15, 16 vintages I’ve had.
The fruit is stunning. Ripe, ruby, lush yet restrained. The acidity is perfect. Blackberries, strawberries, black cherries, black raspberries, black plum, melted chocolate, beautiful, baking spices, coffee, sweet, soft tarriness, diamond, fine earth and minerals, bright blue, red & purple florals. Acidy is perfect. The structure, tension, length and balance are stunning this early. The well balanced and polish finish is gorgeous and persists nicely. — a month ago
Smooth, medium plus body, stewed black fruit flavor, medium tannin. Very good. — 4 days ago
Always willing to take a sip of these when they are opened! Nose of young blackberry and black licorice. A little bit of pepper. Very youthful. The entry still has an overt sweetness about it, black fruits, fig, black cherry, licorice and spice. Finishes with a lot of roasted black fruit and tannic quality. For Napa floor fruit, this is right in my wheelhouse for a younger wine. these usually drink a lot better with 10 to 15 years of age, and I would say that is no different in this scenario in such a powerful year. I would give this one at least five years before opening again. — 22 days ago
They can’t go wrong - this Echo Vineyard Cab Sauv does not disappoint. Aromas, legs, all of it 👌🏻 Opens up really well. — 2 days ago
For the price it was surprisingly good, saving the expensive Zins for special occasions but this one is great for any occasion. — 7 days ago
