Blend of Viura, Albillo Mayor, Alarije (Malvasía Riojana), Jaen, Palomino and even Chasselas

Drunk too young. Dark cherries, blackberries and raspberries wrapped in fine oak. Full bodied, tannins getting there, fine acidity and length — 4 years ago
In love with this tiny winery. Superb Tempranillo-based blend with some Mencía, Garnacha and other yet unidentified indigenous varieties from recently recuperated old vineyards grown at elevations of over 1,000m within the Sabinares Natural Park in Arlanza -a small and relatively unknown appellation halfway between Ribera del Duero and Rioja. Complex and balanced, dusty, pine needles, spice and balsamic notes, liquorice. Only 1002 bottles were filled in 2013 — 5 years ago
