Nose has tangerine peel, raspberries, roses and under-ripe nectarine.
Palate has candied orange, strawberry, orange pith/zest, mild acidity and lingering mineral notes to the medium finish.
Blind, this is a Provence rose to me; nice effort in the cellar here. A steal of a deal when we got this for ~$14.
2018 Blend: 38.5% Grenache, 30.5% Grenache Blanc, 12.5% Carignane, 10% Cinsault, 6% Mourvedre, 2% Picpoul & 0.5% Vermentino — 15 days ago
Amazing low intervention Gamay. Crazy complexity of spice notes, slate earthiness, and mellow sweet cream finish. Nose has more spice notes. Super cool. Let it decant. — 2 days ago
Yeah I know Peeps a wine from Walmart. I did read a review that this one was pretty decent; allowed a bottle to follow..along with the kitty food! 🐈 I am humbled to report..this is good! Nice medium bodied, melon, tangerine, strawberry, lime and minerals. Bottle does not indicate but does remind me of a Provence Rosé. @Sharon B you would like this! Nice with a few years on this Not Tempier..under $10!

White before red. Just an incredible array of aroma and flavors with every sip. Cooked black plum, dried black cherry, dried rose petals, dust, cracked pepper, cedar, wood smoke, fur, olive, leather, cocoa powder, garrigue, tar, hot iron, black tea. Everything about screams rustic but the elegance of tannin and lengthy finesse counter everything peasant about it. More impressive on day 2 is the seamless nature of it, harmonious from front to back, gaining more an overall savory and meaty profile. The shiitake, cured meat, hoisin, talcum and leather really starting to unfold. I think this could be beautiful in 5-8 years, but I love the fruit component at this moment. Been waiting for years to get back to London and bring this home as it’s only available at Berry Bros. & Rudd as far as I know. Remarkable mineral and acidic cut for a southern French white, like a Loire chenin but with a bit more heft and roundness. Green mango, bitter grapefruit, honey, pear, smoke and spice on the finish. Worth checking a bag for! — 5 days ago

Viognier with mustard seeds (7 in bottle to be exact).
Couldn’t detect mustard in the wine, dont believe the negative reviews about the wine being unpleasant. Grey Poupon is made with Viognier, and this Viognier from Napa was made with mustard seeds (unsure if local or from Dijon). Fun.
Crisp Viognier, paired nicely with Chicken in Mustard Sauce. Geeky & tasty. Glad I jumped and scored the limited edition wine, which came with a bottle of Grey Poupon mustard and recipes for pairing. — 21 days ago
