Bin 389 South Australia Cabernet Shiraz 2020

Deep garnet in color; raisins, blackberries, and oak on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like black cherries, molasses, and a hint of chocolate with a long finish. Probably a little past prime, but still tasty. Jason says it's ok. — 6 days ago

Loveblock

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

This white wine has prominent notes of apple and pear on the nose, with hints of green apple and lemon grass to the taste. This white wine is not very acidic, and I enjoy that it is not too dry. — 6 days ago

Grange South Australia Shiraz 2002

Poured into a decanter about 45min prior to dinner. In the glass, the 2002 Grange pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core. Medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous, with powerful dark brambles, baked blueberries, black pepper, coffee, purple flowers, leather, umami, tilled earth, Flintstones vitamins and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is extraordinarily long and rich. A remarkable wine and I can see why people say that Grange needs forever to calm down. Drink now with some patience as it really started to tell more after some air and it should be awesome through 2037. An awesome pairing with a Morgan Ranch Wagyu Tomahawk. My very first Grange and, hopefully, not my last! — 20 days ago

Starborough

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Very citrus-forward (grapefruit and lemon) and light. High acidity that stays on your tongue. Overall, would get again - love the flavor. — a month ago

Klein Constantia

Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2011

Caramel, nougat, dried apricot. Rich orange amber color. Tasted side by side with the 2018 and fascinating to see the development of flavor and color. Seems like time is the major ingredient for success here. Tasted with dried mango, caramelized pecans, and Roquefort. — 7 days ago

Oyster Bay

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Pale yellow in color, with a very stone fruit-forward aroma. Strong notes of tropical fruit to the taste, suggesting pineapple and passion fruit. I enjoy that there are no oak notes in this. — 16 hours ago

Such a good SB. Will definitely be buying again. Good by itself and as a spritzer. Decent price $15 — a month ago
