Oaky and smooth. Deep tastes with deep smell. — 2 years ago
It’s Friday and it is a good time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a nice one from Napa Valley.
Inky in color with a reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blackberries, black plums, oak, blackcurrants, black cherries, licorice, vanilla, mint, tobacco, black pepper, chocolates, coffee, carmel and spices.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, cooked cherries, dried figs, tobacco, wood, vanilla, cloves, chocolates, cola, black tea, peppercorn, spices, light earth, graphite and dark coffee.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Very chocolatey, with a nice mouthfeel and nice complexity.
Would be nice to see how this 4 year old will develop in the next 3 to 5 years.
Needs time to open up. I gave it 90 minutes. Once it opens up, tannins show up and bring nice structure. Easy drinking and delicious. Very enjoyable.
Good by itself or with food, like BBQ Meats.
Aged in French Oak barrels for 26 months . A small production of only 500 cases.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Dark purple, earthy and brambly…chalky tannins…reasonably balanced acid/tannin relationship. Reminds on southern Rhône. Very good. — 3 months ago
Nice Merlot form the Arroyo Seco Vineyard. I will enjoy this one again. — 2 years ago
Well I was going to hold this a bit longer but after @Leah Smith told me this taste stays with you for 2 days I couldn’t hold out, she doesn’t know how weak I am @Mike Smith , she got me, hook line & sinker! Mmmm,,, — 5 years ago
A good solid merlot, mild fruit with lasting tannins. — 7 months ago
FabulousCabernet. Dark complex with berry tones that drink very smoothly. Was recommended as a lover of the Smith & Hook Cab and was not disappointed at all. Now I am torn between them. — 4 years ago

Still a good cab but not as good as previous vintages. A bit unfortunate, but this wine has gone full blown super market class. — 2 months ago
