Light gold color. Pineapple and petrol on the nose. Massive 4th of July sparklers with a sweetness component on the palate. Medium minus depth and medium finish. Very enjoyable. My best bottle of this wine and vintage. — 3 months ago

Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc 2020

2020 vintage. Wow. Medium ruby color. Red fruit aroma. Flavors of raspberry and strawberry jam, herbal note (lovage?), some bell pepper with moderate acid, little tannin depending on the temperature. Give it a moment, it will open up after 10 minutes in your glass. — 9 months ago

Railroad Seneca Lake Dry Riesling 2021

Light and slightly sweet. Hints of strawberry and lychee. Very little or almost no acidity. But paired well with spicy Middle Eastern food. — 2 months ago

Classique Seneca Lake Dry Riesling 2021

Clear deep gold. Abundant, genie-like nose of baked apple and birch. Medium palate confirms the nose -- the apple is green -- with a hint of ripe pear and mineral notes with solid, medium-plus acidity tempered by the barrel treatment. The Classique draws from the top vineyards around lower Seneca Lake, and the result is among the best the Finger Lakes has to offer. Excellent all-around white for rich seafood, pork, or poultry dishes, and especially the Thanksgiving table. Drink now 2021 through 2026. — 6 months ago
